Emerald Cup Regatta
This annual sailboat regatta is one of the premiere events that Triton Yacht Club holds annually. Held to determine the overall champion of Fern Ridge Reservoir, fleets of boats race amongst themselves before an overall champion is determined at the end of racing.
July 21st & 22nd!
This years event sees the welcome return to old traditions by returning to being held in late July as it originally was. Additionally, the venue is returning to Richardson Marina, where the event has been held for the majority of it's history.
UPDATE: July 25, 2018
The Regatta was held in 10 to 14 kts of wind on Saturday and 6 to 10 kts on Sunday. We had 4 races Saturday and 2 more on Sunday with 5 fleets. Wavelength 24, Thistle, Santana 20, PHRF and Multihull. A total of 33 boats participated in the event. The dinner held on Saturday evening was tasty Hawaiian fare that pleased the hungry sailors. The raffle was a success and many went away happy with their treasures.
Paul Stephens on his S20, "Aquila" took home the Cup with 6 bullets against 10 competitors. Congrats to Paul and crew for a job well done.
The Triton Emerald Cup Chair thanked all of the Sailors and race committee for their participation.
